Back from the dead

Yesterday, I was out for the Shakthi Foundation`s annual fund raiser show, this year caled Panchtatva 2006 once again beginning qith a half dead Vasantha Raghuveer explaining what the foundation is all about. For all you ignorant people out there, Shakthi Foundation is an organisation which helps the physically challenged people and lesser priviledged children.
Panchtatva 2006 had the artists Hari Prasad Chaurasia, Pandit Jasraj, Taufiq Quereshi, U.Srinivas, Selvaganesh n Vijay Ghate.
The mandolin started the show with Selva, Ghate and Taufiq joining in brilliantly. No one was interested in listening to Jasraj and his stinking voice(even i would have sounded better) whose singing was like somebody fartting and him sure Hrishi can sing at two octaves higher.
The show didnt live upto to everyone`s expectation and wasnt as lively as the last couple of years. Mainly coz the two old men, Jasraj and Chaurasia were there but some witty lines to end the show left the audience laughing.

Earlier in the evening was Shweta`s bday which was quite funny with Arjun squirting sauce of everybody and Praddy coming to Ispahani in his trademark Nike shirt and shorts. Oh and if anybody wants to know about Praddy and his "street"Lovelife, you shall know in the coming up posts.

I gotto go and finish off my Biology record coz my annuals are coming up. Best of luck to all those writing their boards!!!
